Mission It is the mission of the Achievement Center of Texas to provide day care, day habilitation (life skills training), educational assistance and community inclusion for children and young adults with disabilities so they can develop functional living skills and self-confidence working toward greater independence and a more satisfying way of life. Values The Achievement Center of Texas respects the rights of its students and their families to make their own decisions regarding the types of services they need and want, and the Achievement Center staff will support them in those decisions wherever possible. The Center believes that the culture of our consumers should be respected and recognized in the activities and programs developed by the staff in order that each individual may come to understand that he or she is a valued member of society and a vital member of the Achievement Center of Texas family. The Achievement Center is committed to providing a staff that is dedicated to removing the barriers which often prevent individuals with disabilities from participating in activities and enjoying the same opportunities as their non-disabled peers.  The staff is trained to deliver services in a way that protects the integrity and dignity of the consumer and strives for customer satisfaction.
